This dress i found in 1984 in a closet in a historic house. I am guessing the age from the style and zipper. Zippers started to be used in dresses in the 30s. There are no tags, this is not a mass produced item. The fabric is likely silk crepe, and it is in poor condition. There are numerous small tears and some larger tears in the fabric. Super delicate. The crewel work belt is partially detached. Zipper work. Sleeves are interesting detail design. Offered for historical fashion enthusiasts to own, not wear.
